Join us as Cantor Barbara Ostfeld leads us in discussing her journey to becoming the first ordained female Cantor. "Catbird: The Ballad of Barbi Prim" tells the story of a young, insightful, opinionated Jewish girl growing up in a Chicago suburb. Barbi finds solace and strength in her love of singing, despite facing social ridicule and personal challenges,  Ultimately she becomes the first ordained female cantor in Jewish history. Along the way, Ostfeld navigates a complex journey of self-discovery and healing through therapy as she embraces her unique identity.
